History
Pompeii is a ruined and partially buried city in Rome. It was destroyed, and completely buried, during a long catastrophic eruption of the volcano Mount Vesuvius, spanning two days in AD 79. The volcano buried Pompeii under 60 feet of ash and pumice, and it was lost for nearly 1,700 years before its accidental rediscovery in 1748. Since then, its excavation has provided an extraordinarily detailed insight into the life of a beautiful city at the height of the Roman Empire. Today, this is one of the most popular tourist attractions of Italy.

About
The facade and decor of Pompeii Lounge mimics the atmosphere of the first century Italian city before its destruction. Wood & stone floors, a vaulted ceiling and renaissance, hand-painted artwork lend themselves well to the noble experience. The captivating Coliseum-styled entrance complimented by the life size statue of David and hand-painted version of Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam create a sensual retreat for discerning adults. Our earth-toned, matte finished walls initiate an intimate atmosphere. The wood, copper & granite crested serpentine bar enclose a vast variety of wines & spirits which are used by our gorgeous, amiable bartenders to blend your choice of our many signature cocktails (see menu) all served with entertaining style.

No matter what night of the week you prefer, no matter what type of music makes you move, Pompeii Lounge will get your juices flowing.
